General Meeting

General meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month (except July and November. The December meeting is held in early December and is also our Christmas Party). Visitors are welcome. Minutes from Last General Meeting.

6:00 p.m. - Social Time and Help From Members: Members will be available to answer questions at a help table during the social time. If you have a computer-related item you would like to sell or give away, bring it to the meeting. You are responsible for the item and must take it home with you if it is not sold or given away.

6:30 p.m. - Brief business meeting.

Program: Introduction to Crypto Currency (Bitcoin)

The most well known crypto currency is simply a secure, online database that facilitates moving “money” anywhere any time for pennies. Developed in 2007 after the crash it was a digital system designed to NOT be manipulated like the Exchange Markets. One Developer stated “the most dangerous terrorism group in world is the federal reserve."

Come and learn how this market disrupter can be tamed and used (primarily in 2nd and 3rd world countries).

Instructors will give a quick review of their winter classes.

Breakfast meetings are held on the second Friday morning of the month. This is designed to be a more social atmosphere. Have breakfast and conversation with others interested in computers. Visitors are welcome.
